Project North Star

In the Antalya Port area of Türkiye, H2 Europe Energy Partners GmbH and EGEMAD Group have joined forces to develop a green ammonia plant catering to the chemical and fertilizer industry. This collaborative initiative, named Project North Star One, represents a significant step towards sustainable energy production. The project’s primary objective is the establishment of a green ammonia plant, leveraging renewable hydrogen sourced from adjacent green hydrogen production facilities.

This plant will play a pivotal role in propelling the Turkish hydrogen sector forward, serving as a central piece of infrastructure. It will enable hydrogen producers to convert their hydrogen into green ammonia, enhancing its transportability and contributing to making green hydrogen marketable.
